Complaint Review: craigslist

Craigslidt add for 2004 Honda Minivan in Sacramento.  Said he'd meet me at Mack Rd.  Later said go to North Sacramento.  I asked for address- went by with gps- saw 2 guys working on a tire across the street- parked a safe distance away.  Kept car running and locked out of harms way.  Called him and said I didn't see a Minivan.  He hung up.   Circled and checked out a parked car in front.  Discovered 2 guys camouflaged in black hoods inside car.  I took off- he chased- I lost him.  He thought I had the money on me but I didn't.  Their plan was to have me go to the address, the guys across the street were spotters.  The guys in the car probably had guns and did the robbing.  They used a phone from a different area code and probably had no business on that street.  I rechecked craigslist to report the scam and the add was gone.  Close call but we were cautious and all is good.
