Complaint Review: Craigslist Real Estate Ads

Craigslist maintains a Real Estate for Sale section that is dominated by real estate scams.

The latest scam is investors who bought up all the available real estate in foreclosure and are trying to rent the houses.

I responded to a number of these ads and sent off my loan information and applied to buy these homes. The homes on Craigslist are often not the home for sale, but off the MLS. The only purpose of these realtors is to obtain your personal information.

They pass your personal information around and you never know who sees it.

Shopping for a home and giving out your personal information to anybody on Craiglist is a risk.
