Crate Furniture Took my money without delivering product Petersburg Virginia
On January 23, 2008 I placed a phone order for sofa cusions; spoke to Patti Johnson at 800-627-5161. She sent me swatches from which to choose. My order number is 87643. She requested a check, saying their computers were down. I sent check # 9235 dated Jan 23, 2008 for $419.70 to cover cost of my order. I was given a delivery date of 6 to 8 weeks after my order. On March 28 the expected delivery date I phoned to get a status of my delivery.
I only got an answering machine telling me to leave my name and phone number and I would get a call back. That never happened - even though I called multiple times after that. I still do not have my sofa cushion covers and want my $419.70 refunded in full via an official or cashier's check. On 3-28-08 I received a Back Order Notice which stated expected ship date is
"4-14-08". It is now 6-13-08 and nothing has arrived. No one has phoned to talk to me either. I have filed a complaint with the Virginia Consumers Affairs office and spoke to the Virginia State's Attorneys office. I have also phoned the Federal Trade Commission to report the internet advertising as fraud. The FTC reference # is 19295391.
