Unfortunately, I placed an order with cratefurniture.com. I was told that they could not process credit cards at the time, but if I sent a check they would wave the shipping and handling charges. I was told that I would be contacted when my check was received with a delivery date. My check was cashed on 4/18/08 and despite numerous phone calls and a faxed letter to the company I have heard nothing in response. I contacted the Richmond Better Business Bureau and filed a complaint. My case with them was closed because "it could not be pursued". What is that suppose to mean? They referred me to the Office of Consumer Affairs. Unfortunately, I am still out $715 with little hope of receiving my merchandise or my money back.
