10 days ago we bought a domain name from Crazy Domains via Credit card. Today we have received the following email.  We have searched on the internet to find a woman has already been ripped off and has done some research and says the addresses are not bone fide.  Also, there is an Indian call centre.  Does this tell you anything????

We are now wondering what to do as we live in Spain.....

I am writing in regards to your domain which you have registered through Crazy Domains. As a part of our fraud protection process your domain has been selected for a random fraud check and we require some details to authenticate your order.

Can you please provide the following:

A copy of the credit card used for the order (you may cover the first 12 digits for security reasons)
A copy of valid photo ID (drivers license, passport, etc)

You can either fax the copies through to +44 8444 844 288 (please mark ATTN: Dan and mention your domain).
Or you can email the scanned copies of the above in reply to this email.

If we do not receive reply within 48 hours we will be forced to remove the order from our system, a full refund would be processed. Please advise if you have further queries.

Regards,
Lesley B.
