Complaint Review: CRC Of Raritan Valley

I wish I would have never been contacted by this company!
I aggreed to pay the shipping and handling on the magazines that I unfortunatly excepted. The total amount would have been $7.00 a month. When I received my first bill after the intial delivery charges where charged to my debit card, the cost was $23.94. I called and spoke with a very rude women who told me that they bill 3 months at a time. I did not agree to that during the initial phone call! I told the woman that I did not want the magazines any longer and she told me that I could not cancel. I explained that I never signed any agreement or contract and she told me that we have a verbal agreement.

Relly we didn't have a verbal agreement because I never aggreed to pay any more than $7.00 a month. Two days ago I received a threating letter that stated that I owe them $457.00 or they were going to send me to a collection agency! I don't know where they got that amount! I have worked very hard to clean up my credit and raise my credit score and I am very upset. I wish that I would have done some research befor I agreed to anything!
