The company had called me saying they were for a credit card company, mastercard, which i have. They said that i was going to get a free diamond watch and entered into a drawing for 25,000 dollars.....Just to listen to them.

Then they went on to say that i was going to be able to get 3 magazines a month for FREE. I thought well that isnt bad at all okay whatever. Then they went on to tell me that i could get more for just 3 dollars. Since they already had the last digits of my card number i said okay no big deal , and gave them my number.

After that phone call i had recieved another one 2 days later to 'confirm' what was said. The associate said that i would have to pay around 60 dollars every month for these magazines that the first guy said i would get for FREE. i went and canceled my card so they could no longer take any money out, but now i am getting bills saying i owe them all this money....wehn originally it was Free or just 3 dollars. I called them and told them to cancel everything that i no longer wanted it and that i was not paying, but the simply said that it couldnt be done and Now i have all these bills piling up.

TOTAL RIPP IGNORE THIS PHONE CALL

I have made many complaints to this company and several instances have told them I was going to contact the BBB , and I have not gotten any money refunded. If this was company policy, It aparently no longer is since you have left.

I have on many of my several calls asked to speak to a manager or supervisor and have allways been told that " they are not available" or " My manager will tell you the same thing" and I have called back again and again and gotten a different person each time, Aparently the managers at this company dont deal with customer complaints anymore.

Question, would you be willing to testify to the business practices of this company should a class action lawsuit get started? It would help our cause if a former employee testified. I also noticed several job adds asking for telemarketers for subscriber services... aparently you are not alone in getting out of a company who are engaging in illegal business practices, hopefully we can get a bunch of former employees.

How you can get out of the "contract"

Now you have to be really pissed off and tell them you have to speak to their manager. They collections department, customer service, verifications dept, none of these individuals can help you. You must be insistent to speak with a manager!

Once you get the manager on the phone, immediately threaten to contact the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General to report the fraudulent activity this company is involved in.

Once they hear this, it's company policy to automatically cancel the account. The company will do anything to stop anymore complaints to the BBB! Tell them you will not hesitate to contact them if your contract is not cancelled immediately. I have seen my previous manager even refund the money that the company already recieved. If you are persistent, they will refund you all of your money. GOOD LUCK!!!
