Complaint Review: Create My Tattoo

Createmytattoo.com is a sweat shop for artists disguised as a “contest” site.  Really what this site is doing to artists is immoral.  They have set up a system where countless man hours are spent by artists with no possible guarantee of pay.  It sets artists up to fail on a whole.   Completely devoid of feelings for the hard work and time put in by artists.  Most of the artists working on this website are already desperate for income and the sites bottom line is making money off these desperate artists.  If you are considering a tattoo and have some type of respect for artists and what they do I would just find the tattoo designs you like from online galleries and go directly to an artist’s website and ask them what their rates are and work one on one with them.   BECAUSE this createmytattoo.com ruins peoples livelihoods.

  Now I am sure the site will give a great rebuttal with a bunch of flowery words of why this site is so great for artists-- but think for yourself and go do a survey with three random artists off that site (if you can find a way to contact them as it’s almost impossible to promote your site/email/online gallery to clients there)  If those three randomly selected artists don’t tell you about how bad this site has been for their livelihoods and time spent--- I would be extremely surprised.

IF YOU PUT UP A CONTEST ON CREATEMYTATTOO.COM YOUR PROMOTING A SWEAT SHOP MENTALITY AND ARE PREAYING ON THE NEEDS OF DESPERATE PEOPLE ---PERIOD.
