Crafters remorse at a cost
Consumers beware. I'm writing this report to warn others of a business owner and her business practices that are causing harm to others. Mai Larsen is the owner of Creating with Details. It is a small minute craft like store, that sales a few items like laces, trims, and a few metals pieces. Basically, stuff you can find all over the net and Ebay for much lower prices.
It is not what she sells is the problem, it is how she treats people that work for her. Last year, she hired a Design Team of ladies to work with her products and to produce videos and or posts showing what they made using the stuff in her store. 2 Weeks went by and they ladies were getting used to the process of the schedule and how to post. She had seen their work and did nothing but insult it. Saying that is it not to her caliber and that she could not have these women work for her and represent her company with poor quality projects. So she had her DT coordinator and Co-DT coordinator at the time, contact these ladies and come up with some fake excuse as to why they cant work for her and had to ask these ladies either 1. to send the products back to either DT Co coordinator that was sent to them, or 2. to pay for the products at retail. A few ladies sent the products to either the Co-coordinator or to another DT member as requested by Mrs. Larsen and 1 paid for her kit. Now mind you, she sent a huge amount. Enough to work for 3 months. But if you didn’t meet her standards, you got the boot and a bill.
Now as time went on, she began hating the coordinators. She come up with some outrageous lies and stories to validate her reasons as to why she didn’t like them . The co-Dt Coordinator at the time had been sent 3 DT packages because 2 of the ladies as mentioned before could not afford her ridiculous bill and had to pay for shipping to ship their DT packages to the Co-Coordinator. Now if you add this up, the Co-Coordinator had about $1000 in merchandise at retail. So she began to collaborate a story and posts about the Co-coordinator to have reason to drop her; which were mostly lies. For 3 months she bullied the Co-coordinator with emails, posts, and invoices sent through paypal for the cost of all the products that she said herself and I quote, " I don’t want any of it, you can have it as a gift". But as soon as she got tired of the co-coordinator for no reason at all, she began the bully game and the harassment. She even called her lawyer to have them send this woman letters and invoices. Now, your asking maybe she had good reason to fire the Co-coordinator? Nope, she said herself that is was because her projects were crap and that again they were not to her caliber of work. Plus, she was told by other sick bullies loads of lies etc about the co-corrdinator, you know how it goes.
Now that brings me to today. Now, she has fired her Coordinator for the same reasons. Lies, projects not meeting her standards and more lies. The Coordinator she fired is a lady that is very popular in the crafting industry and has an amazing popular channel on youtube. Her projects inspire and have been published. It flabbergasted me when I knew that she fired this lady. All I ever heard from this lady she fired, was to shop at Mai Larsen's store, order from her store and she would demo all her products through video tutorials and product reviews. Much like her past DT's and Co Coordinator did. It was my understanding and eye whiteness too the reason she fired her coordinator was that she believed she was impersonating someone else and that it was linked to terriest. And yes you guessed it, she got this info from a lady that does not know the coordinator and claims to have a husband that works with the FBI. I just shook my head and said this is crazy. But that is the internet for you! I mean, I have read some crazy stories but this one took the cake as to her reasoning. It was not because of this ladies work or her representation that she had cause to fire her. I would have never known about her store if it was not for this ladies videos. I even ordered from Mai Larsen's Store because I wanted to make what this made in her video. So now she is too being harassed by Mai Larsen with the same antics as in getting invoices and threats. She was even attacked verbally on a live stream which caused this lady to collapse in front of her daughter from the vicious attack. She is trying as she did with the Co-coordinator to ask for money for the items she had sent the lady " AS GIFTS" as she loves to put it.
She is currently running a DT call and TO ALL CONSUMENRS AND PEOPLE LOOKING TO CRAFT ON A DT, WARNING I would not apply to this one by any means. For you harbor the chance of not meeting her standards and to getting an outrageous invoice for products she sends. Sorry I would buy the products myself before I take a chance of being the blunt end to this woman's games. If I was asked, this sounds to me like some sort of sick way to make money. Send these innocent women a huge box pof products and give them a few weeks to comply. Then she comes up with an excuse and says pay or you will here from my lawyer. I don’t even know what sort of business practice that would be labeled under. But if I were the consumer I would not even chance it.
I have kept the names of the Coordinators and Past DT members private for they have had enough bullying by this lady and do not need further harassment.

This post is filled with untruths and is written by someone who was on the DT team for Creating With Details. This person was someone who loved to create drama and was asked to leave for that very reason. This person was asked to return the items sent to design with. She signed a contract agreeing to return unused items if she left or was asked to leave. She refused to do so and was sent a bill.
There is no scams or rip offs from Creating With Details, the owner Mai Larsen is very concerned about the quality of her products and with her customers and DTs!
Please do not take this post at face value, as we all know there are two sides to every story.
