Creative Memories rip-off! Dishonest! They made broad accusations and assumptions with no proof punishing a good individual unjustly. St Cloud Minnesota

Creative Memories agressively attacks any secondary market sellers (like eBay sellers) that they perceive as a threat. Creative Momemories rejects the notion of our Capitalistic Economy here in the United States, as well as the notion of Free Enterprise. An acquaintance of mine was summarily kicked out of being a consultant by Creative Memories, based purely on their speculations on who she was selling stock to, and what they were doing with it. This is none of their concern. Creative Memories made their money from the original sale, and if the person who bought it wants to re-sell it at a later date, that's Free Enterprise in action.

Creative Memories never did contact their Consultant to ask about their suspicions, nor did they present any proof of what they accused her of. They decided guilt and punishment in one fell swoop. They cheated her out of a supplimental income that was helping to raise her family, bonuses they offer, and they took away something that previously had been bringing her a little joy into her life. Now she has mixed feelings about the scrapbooking that she used to enjoy so much.

When Creative Memories did contact her to confront her, the representative was rude and condescending. She would not listen to ANY explainations or conversation used to defend herself. We can only assume that Creative Memories considers you guilty until proved innocent.

Creative Memories unfair business practice!

#2Consumer Comment

Wed, July 14, 2004

I have witnessed some bad experiences with Creative memories myself. A friend of mine was a consultant with them for a while, and then she had her status taken away from her out-of-the blue! She was so surprised! The company claimed they had proof that my friend had been selling items on eBay, which isn't possible, because my friend does not even have an account with eBay! I felt so bad for her. I like the products that Creative memories sells, but I sure don't like the way the company does business! I would think that somebody would be presumed innocent until proven guilty in this country. But that is obviously not the way Creative memories does business.
