I originally signed an online agreement on 10/31/2005 with United Christian Financial, who offered a DMP through Credicure. My program was set to begin on 12/25/2005. They did take my first payment on time. After that, proposals were supposed to be sent out to my creditors. Only one such proposal was sent out. It was at this point that I realized that Credicure didn't live up to the original agreement we signed, thus a breach of contract. However, in the agreement, it did state that if I received a refund from them at any time, I would be charged a $75 processing fee before the refund would be issued.

So, I asked to have my account cancelled and I only asked them for my initial deposit ($162.00) minus the $75 processing fee, but they refused saying that I wasn't entitled to such a refund. It was at this time that I heard back from Jeffrey Formulak, who told me that my account had been cancelled (01/09/2006). Come to find out, on January 25, 2006, funds in the amount of $162.00 from Credicure was pending from my checking account.

I then had to set up a block on my account. I have sent several requests to them, and the last such request was sent to them through an email account that offered tracking services. I sent off the email to two seperate recipients. (Katherine Long and Jeffrey Formulak). Katherine Long never even opened the email, and Jeffrey Formulak, replied stating that I could not receive a refund. Multiple reasons have been giving to me regarding this issue. Then I sent a follow up email to Jeffrey, with the email system tracking it, and I did record that the message had been deleted by Jeffrey as of today (02/01/2006). So, he quite obviously had no intention of trying to resolve the issue any further with me, and wanted to get me out of his hair by simply deleting the message.

This just simply shouldn't suffice as an acceptable practice. This has been done to myself as well as my fiance' (he was a client with them who was also disserviced and refused refund).
