I dont know why so many people on here just want to complain about CAC.. I have had 3 cars financed through them since 2002. The vehicle I bought in 2002 got reposessed and guess what... It was MY fault.. not CAC's..I even threw them in a bankruptcy in 2007 to clear that debt.. In 2010 I needed a new car and CAC financed it for me even though I had a repo with them in the past.. I paid on time every month for 19 months and traded it in.. Never once had any issues with them. Want to know why?? Because I PAID THEM ON TIME!!! I traded that car in.. got prime financing through Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp at 1.9%. On the 15th of last month (Feb) I needed a second vehicle and I actually asked for them to see if CAC would do it. Guess what.. They did.. and at a decent interest rate and with very little down.. No questions asked.. I actually just made my first payment on it tonight.. 10 days early and paid a little extra.. Called them up 15 min after making payment online and the rep (which was very polite) informed me the payment had already posted to my account. To sum this whole thing up, 99% of these reviews on here are not CAC's fault. Its not their fault the dealer sold you a pos. Its not their fault you feel like you can pay them whenever you feel like it. and all these reviews about the "10 day" grace period. Get real!! If your payment says its due on the 1st. Pay them on the first. Thats the DUE DATE! Dont pay your rent and see what happens. Oh wait.. you probably still have your victim glasses on about that also! Take of your victim glasses and put on your accountability glasses folks! These people took a risk loaning money on you because you havent paid your bills to anybody else!! They are just giving you a chance! Quit blaming the finance company because of your problems. CAC is a ok company. Just pay them and you will not have any issues.. I havent and they even took a second chance on me back in 2010.. Thank you CAC!!

I couldnt agree more.  There is nothing more ironic than someone who has ripped everyone else off to the point that only a subprime collection agency will risk loaning to them but then they have the gall to state a complaint that they are being ripped off.  WELL IF IT IS TRUE, I ASK, HOW DOES IT FEEL?  Although we all know its not the banks fault, I guarantee they created their own destiny 99.9% of the time.  Just pay your bills on time, no excuses and guess what.....your car wont be repossessed.  Its a funny thing, I have always paid my bills on time and I have never had my car repossessed.  A grace period is not a due date, give me break.  Everyone that is subprime is a victim, same old story.  Get over it, you live your life ripping people off and then report someone through lies for doing exactly what you do.  Wow....

The whiners and wailers you find here regarding the subprime lenders all follow a pattern.  They became subprime borrowers ONLY because they screwed over their previous creditors by NOT paying them at all or habitually late.  Then the whiners get hooked with another lender who is willing to give them a chance and what happens?  They screw them over too, thus continuing their habitual deadbeat ways.  When the lender's COLLECTION ACTIVITIES begin (which the deadbeat clearly turned on), then the deadbeat comes here to nit pick, find fault with the car or lender or make up purely bogus reports!  That's the exact nature of the sorry, welfare type, habitual deadbeat.
