This company is shady! I have had a loan thru them for alittle over a year. I could not get credit anywhere because of hospital bills I have on my credit, not from not paying any bills. I am young and have never really had any bills. So i got a loan thur CAC and ever since then it has been a disaster, they lie all the time to you, they customer service rep's yell at you, or will hang up on you. If you ask to speak to a manager they say they will have to e-mail a manager and they will call you back. I ahve never recieved a call back from a manager after several times of requesting one. My car was repo'd because i was behind one month payment after something serious happened to me, anyway I wanted to pay what I owed and get the car back. So I called them up and payed what was owed, they said okay let me call where your car is so I can send them a release of car form. Well they put me on hold for 20 minutes and come back on and say well the one person they need to talk to is not there, they will be there at 4pm. so i need to call CAC back at 4 then they will fax the form to that person and I can then call them to arrange a time to get mycar. Well before I made the payment I has specifically asked a couple questions, one being if I paid CAC would ihave to pay the place that has my car when I pick it up, they said no thats why you pay us. Okay WRONG, I had to pay an additional 300 to the place where my car was, now CAC told me it was included in what i was paying them. another question I asked was when I paid the money would they tell me where my car was, because they would not tell me before this. They said yes...so I paid and after she came back on the phone and told me to call them back at 4, I asked where is the car so I can figure out how long of I drive I have. The lady would not tell me, after she had previosly told me she would as soon as I made my payment. I ended up after talking to her, calling back and talking to someone else and they told me where my car was. So i called this place, and the number they gave me was the towing place that has repo'd my car, but no longer had my car. So they told me my car was at the auction, which I was surprised because CAC told me my car would go to auction on the 15th which happens to be today while i am writing this. So I have had my car for almost two weeks and it wasnt suppose to go to auction until the 15th, but here almost two weeks earlier it is already at the auction. anyway I spoke with a woman from the auction, and told her my story about the finace company CAC giving me the run around. she gave me the owners name who was at a diffeent auction and gave me the number and had me call her. I did and this lady who is the owner of the place where my car is, said CAC knows that they can fax it in anytime and that one certain person doesnt need to be there for me to get my car back. So the owner asks for CAC's numberand she called them and told them to send the release form to the office NOW, she called me back and told me I was allset to go and pick up my car. Then I go to get my car and there r no license plates on the car. Noone knows where they are. now I was told by CAC my car was not touched at all. So I need to go and get new plates. Then just today someone pointed out to me that my inspection sticker is not on the car..so I call the tow place that towed my car and the owner there who had also helped me in locating my car when CAC would not tell me where it was, said they dont touch that stuff(the plate, or inspection sticker). to call the auction, so I do that and they told me they cannot have inspection stickers on the car when they go to auction, but this car wasnt suppose to go to auction for like at least 10 more days. So now I need to go and get a new inspection. so because of these incidents I need to pay an additional $125. The lies just keep on coming, so I call CAC and ask to speak to a manager about this, and the customer service rep says that she will not get or email a manager because this is not a manager problem. I believe it is a manager problem so I should be able to speak to one, correct?? I dont know what to do, these people are so rude on the phone, they yell at you. I have been called a b***h, c***, and my boyfriend who is also on the loan has been called an uppity white man....there has to be alimit to what these people r capable of. I am def going to contact the BBB. These calls are all recorded so I hope they just listen to some of these customer service reps on the phone. any suggestions on anything I can do??
