Complaint Review: credit card award center visa mastercard

We have received multiple illegal robocalls, in violation of the Do Not Call law, from "credit card award center from Visa/Mastercard." The caller is using the names of the two reputable credit card companies without their authorization.

The calls are placed from spoofed phone numbers to hide the caller's real identity which, in addition to the fact that the calls are illegal in the first place (robocall, and to number on Do Not Call list), indicates that these callers are running some kind of scam. Do not under any circumstances give them any kind of information such as Social Security (or last 4 digits), any part of your credit card number, date of birth, name of bank, or other information.

If you ask for a number where you can call them back, or a web site, they will hang up on you showing further that they are scammers. Reputable businesses have working phone numbers and web sites, scammers and thieves do not.
