Hello. I found their website on internet. They had very good prices on used auto. I searched for a few days and settled on a 2005 Honda Civic. Vin# 2HGES1657H628022. The reference number on site is 9123809

I sent a moneygram to Harold Quinn in the amount of 2,116.00 as instructed. They were to finance the remainder with monthly payments. They sent me an e-mail saying they had money and that shipping info would be sent within 24 hours. Delivery of vehicle within 5 days.

Since then I have heard nothing. No reply to e-mails. Phone says all operators are busy. Chat on website is offline. The car was listed as sold but is not now. It is listed for sale.

I am a working man who has never had much money. I sold my car to get cash to pay for this. The worse thing is feeling so stupid. I always thought I was fairly intelligent. This is the dumbest thing I ever done.

Thank You

You are EXACTLY right!  This wasn't the smartest thing you ever did and I am so glad you can see that.

This crap of buying used cars sight unseen on the internet has got to be one of the stupidest things a person can do!  Send money off to somebody unknown to buy a car which isn't seen!

Your money is valuable to you.  I feel reasonably certain you have grown tremendously thru this experience!

Please remember, its not just this particular dealer.  It is NEVER, EVER a smart idea to be buying a used car, sight unseen on the internet!  From now on, leave that up to those who lack common sense!

I googled this company and came across a news article from a day ago about how their website was hijacked and they ripped off a lot of people.

Here is the link, if it is removed just Google Credit City Auto Sales and look for news articles.

Sorry.
