Well I fell for the scam by telephone. They called me around 10:00 am one morning stating that they were a new Credit Company, and I could have either a Visa or Master Card with lifetime no interest on purchases as long as monthly fees were paid on time. But there was a once and a lifetime fee for activation purposes.

They gave me a set date for my money to be withdrawn from my checking account. Well I really did'nt have the money but I thought if I got the Credit Card it would be easier to make all ends meet. So I waited and waited... Finally they called me again a man by the name of Mike Muro ( very nice ) claiming he could fix my credit, and I could purchase a credit repair package the fee was $296.00 and i could pay for it with the card I was getting. With payments as low as $7.00 a month

Well of course I agreed . Who would'nt ???

So my card never came and luckly I overdrew my checking account because they tried to take the $296.00 out on June 6, 2003 the Bank would'nt do it ... THANK GOODNESS ... But now I am out of about $150.00 and struggling to pay my bills, even worse than I was before, Once you get behind it's hard to catch up. And not to say that my credit is getting worse with all my late payments I am very mad and upset. Along with many others who work hard for their money...

Have you contacted the Attorney Generals of Virginia and Nevada?

For many weeks this Credit Education Group was showing up on this site with a North Little Rock, Arkansas address and phone number.

I sent an email to Mike Beebe, our AR Attorney General. I was not a victim, but a concerned citizen. I also posted the AR AG web address for actual victims to use. Credit Education Group went away from this state!

I have not seen that NLR, AR address in awhile now.

As a victim, you can file complaints with AGs in both states. Do a websearch, find them and just do it! If this bunch of scammers gets run out of one state after another, maybe they will move to India!
