I was contacted one sunday morning recently, and informed that I had the opportunity to improve my credit with a new visa card at a $2,500 limit. The name of the person I was speaking with called himself Anthony Marcus, and told me that after I gave him my checking account information, they would send me my visa card via a courier service.

I agreed to have their $296 account set-up fee debited from my account on a specified date, and was told if I had any questions to call him back. I recently tried to call him and verify the status of the card, but the number was not in service.

In an attempt to find another possible number on the internet, I found that they were listed under The Ripoff Report. Luckily, I was able to contact my bank, and make sure that this company will never be able to debit my account. Thanks Ripoff Report!
