Last year I purchased tires at a local (Fort Worth, TX) Firestone dealer. Although I had cash to pay in full, the rep talked me into a Firestone credit card and this was a Big mistake. Firestone will not accept a debit card, payments must be made in cash. If you try to pay by phone-good luck-their automated system is absolutely the worst-and if you request a live rep there is a $10. service charge. I have been paying for two tires a year now. My last bill showed a balance of $185. with minimum due of $19. After paying this my new balance is $194.43. .it goes up every month and they also hold your payment until they can slap you with a $35. late charge. CFNA is one big ripoff but remember it's Firestone hiding behind them. Best stay away!
