I recently Purchased a Credit Card from a company who contacted me at home offering me a way to restore my credit. I spoke with Justin who said my card would be with Bank of America, but the company he worked with was World Benefits. I was told they would make a automatic Withdrawel from my checking account for 299.00 on Aug 15th and I could call the Customer Service # 800-799-0090 anytime to change the date or cancel.

I decided to Cancel the card and when I tried to call the # I could never get through. I tried for a week and went into the internet and just put the phone # in and low and behold it came up on the Rippoff Website. I am familier with this because I have already been scammed by another Co. before and when I seen this I tried the Customer Service # every day until I finally got thru and cancelled the card. They gave me a comfirmation # after asking 4 times and the girl I spoke to was Michelle ext 211, which I also asked to talk to her boss for comfirmation and Jessica came on and said she was the supervisor and it was cancelled. She was the one who came up with a confirmation # because they said they didn't have nothing they could send me. I'm sure they will try to get the money out of my account anyway after reading others stories. I am in the process right now trying to close out that checking account. I am not sure what will happen but will write back if I have any other news.
