I was surfing the internet and I saw a site that offered a FREE credit report so I decided to check it out.

I figured what the heck. I didn't really need one but I wanted to take a peak at it and see. I filled out my information and actually hesitated when they asked for a credit card # but then I just figured that since they were accessing my credit report what was the difference.

I knew there was something weird about the whole thing when I never received anything in the mail or via email. I just assumed that I did something wrong and didn't fill it out correctly. Then 2 months later I got my credit card bill with a $79.95 charge from Credit Monitor Service on my credit card.

I called them thinking that they made a mistake. I called and spoke to someone in customer service at Credit Monitor Service and told them I never authorized them to charge my account. The cust serv rep said that she needed to access my account and asked me to give her my credit card # so that she could look up my account. I asked her to try to look up the account by my name and she said the only way to find out was to do it by credit card number.

At that point I refused and asked her again to check by my name and she got kind of short with me so I then asked to speak to her supervisor or manager and before I took another breath I was hung up on.

After that I was angered and called my credit card company to let them know that Creditinfo.com illegally charged my card with out my authorization. I then went to google.com and entered their comapny name and I was in shock when I saw how many people were duped in the same manner. Credit Monitor Service needs to be stopped!!!!!!!
