This company not only charges you a hidden sign up fee of $75 but also when you try to use your card for online purchases they place a hold on your funds that were only put there the ensure that the funds were available in the first place only they Dont recognize it as a hold they actually charge you and try to blame it on the other company. The hold should have dropped off 7-10 days after my purchase was declined and 2 weeks later its still there.Amazon even gave me transaction I'd # of settlement verification to aid in the process yet credit one says all I can do is file a written complaint.

Declined card

Also yes the decline was their fault due to the "hold" amazon had placed to ensure the funds were there before actually charging me which they were until credit one decided to count the hold in addition to the charge i was trying make. Amazon doest actually charge you until the items are shipped which they weren't. I ended up buying the gifts off of amazon with my debit card which in 3 years of being a prime member I've never had an issue with funds being held on my debit card. The purchases I were trying to make should have been available on my credit card since I made sure before I even attempted to purchase them that my available credit was enough to cover it.

The company then argued with me saying amazon actually charged me so I went so far as to have a conference call between amazon and credit one to further explain that this was an issue with credit ones bank policies not amazon. I was then assured it would drop off like I previously stated and it never did. Obviously you either work for the company or have never dealt with them stealing your money. Oh and I failed to mention I even made 2 payments in december one for december and one for my january bill on my measly balance to ensure I had enough funds yet my statement still says my next patent is due in January.

Hidden fee

Because in the pre approval letter I received via the mail said there was no annual fee nor a membership fee when I signed up reguardles to the fact you found it on the website that still doesn't justify the paperwork i recieved nor the charge on my account that was a hold on their end that was supposed to drop off and never did. Not to mention when I complained about the fee that was not written in my letter and I threatened to cancel my card they magically dropped off $25 of the annual fee. I should've done my research before hand and not after because if I had I would've seen all the reviews of just about everyone complaining about what a scam this company is.

If It Was A Hidden Fee...

If this $75 fee was "hidden" then why could I find it on their website within a minute and I don't even have an account with them?  As far as this stuff about a hold on the account, since you state the purchase was declined, I guess that's their fault too, right?
