This company used a media platform to basically take advantage of consumers that are already experiencing affects of being in a legitimate hardship.

Creditors are 99.9% LESS likely to work with companies that do not secure settlement funds in trust. Yet, Credit Solutions cares only to debit their fees and has no interest in protecting their clients. "Save your money in your own account." Oh yeah -- cause the creditors are going to believe someone that is in a FINANCIAL HARDSHIP is going to be capable of saving settlement funds?

I called in to hear their "pitch" and the uneducated, sales-man wanna be on the other end of the phone must have had 10 Redbulls and a pot of Starbucks House Blend, because the 80 MPH script he was reading seemed to blend into one gigantic Cluster-- well, you get the idea.

This company is BAD for the settlement industry!! I am shocked they aren't on the FTC radar yet. (No doubt, it is only a matter of time.

Let's see...

June 2006 -- 164 BBB complaints
MAY 2007 -- 469 BBB complaints

WOW!!! 305 MORE COMPLAINTS in less that 365 days! That's amazing!!! How does one accomplish that?? BY SLAMMING PEOPLE IN THE DOOR - that's how!

"Got debt?"
"Got a checking account?"

That was what I was asked.

"I'll send you the paperwork right now."

WHOA -- I was just trying to find out how it all "worked"... and they're ready to send me a contract.... you trying to hit quota, there, guy? What, do you get a "bonus" for the number of people you rip off in a week?

This company should be ashamed. The settlement industry is a legitimate industry but it is companies like this (the rottenest apple in the bunch) that can and DOES ruin the financial future of many.
