Complaint Review: Credit Restoration Center

I received a phone call in 2002 from the company called credit restoration center telling me that they could repair my credit and sent me a visa or mastercard in the amount of $2500 so after some encouraging words, I gave them my checking account number and an amount of $297. A week or so later I received a packet in the mail simply explaing how one goes about clearing up his or her credit and an application for a credit card. I sealed it back up and returned it to credit restoration center requesting my monies refunded. I called in a week after to see that they had received their packet back only to get very negative response and even had the phone hung up on me. I then wrote to the better business bureau in Las Vegas. The first reply I received from them was August 24, 2004 from a Brandy Yost saying they were in the process of purging all of their 2002 complaints and in reviewing these complaints that my complaint has not been resolved or closed. He asked that I send him a copy of my original complaint to them but I have been unable to find my copies as I have moved from the address during that time

I had to close my bank account and open another one after not being able to resolve this with my bank either.
