I paid them $250.00 to correct, clean up negative, derogatory credit reports. Nothing had been done, after applying for several services, every attempt was denied. Reasons were what showed up negative on credit reports.Since 3/03 this occured to me that the 4250.00 had been used for other purposes.on 9/18/03 a letter from the ez credit repair was received.stating ,Yes we can help,it doesnt matter what state your in,I will repair your credit,it will take 60-90 days for you to see a graet difference. I charge one flat fee and finance it for you with no interest.I will work on federal,state taxes,child support,or new student loans,or accurate files.we work on hot checks,chapter 7.11.13. Do not pay collection accounts,or charge offs,I will get them deleted with out you paying them. we work on repos,late payments.and judgments.To get started,go to website,click sign up. fill out the form,and mail in your deposit,we no longer accept credit cards,I worked for TRW (experian for 16 years and have been in business (9) years we are licensed and bonded. contract for sales and service and limited power of attorney is on website.IT IS ILLEGAL FOR US TO TO GUARANTEE TO REMOVE ANYTHING OFF A CREDIT REPORT(FEDERAL LAW) but we do guarantee our work.Everything is done in writing,that is the same as a guarantee. I requested a refund of $250.00 I already paidthem,they stated that if they hadnt done what they said they would doon credit reports,a refund would be sent.In best interest that seems appropriate resolve.
However I received the letter the letter above,and filed a complaint with Attorney General office in Texas,Their letter 9/16/03 in an effort to resolve the complaint requesting response in 14 days,it could take posibly take 60 days depending on the volumne the attorney general handles,if settlement is reached,before that time,let them know,so they can close file.
Apparently ez credit repair,credit restoration has a problem.

When I filed the complaint with Texas attorney general. Lee Harrison reply to attorney general to close the file stated in the event that we have done our job we will refund your money upon receipt of new credit reports and a copy of the first ones that we started on from Experian,Trans Union, and Equifax with the items that are inaccurate and or not your accounts marked.
All the items that we have deleted will be deucted from the amount you paid us and we will send you the balance. Or we will completely refund all your money if we do not either delete any information that is disputed or increase your credit scores.We try very hard to please everybody and do our job the best way can.We are sorry that you are unhappy with our service and we wish to repair the problem,if not we wish you the best of luck.
Then attorney general closed the file. However then lee harrison wrote we have no refund policy from you,you have done nothing to help yoursel.We have tryed everything we can to help you.But all you do is wine and try to find fault with everything we do, You are your worst enemy. You need to grow up and admitthat the files on your credit report are accurate,and no matter how much you try to force me into lying to get files off your report that are accurate I will not do it,it is illegal.
That is presicely why the federal trade commission has published facts for consumers regarding credit repair,they cant do anything,except take your money,and then try to give you a bad name because they are deceptive,and fraud business.
Only by contacting creditors,credit bureaus,and the like,can you work on inaccurate information in your files,or accurate ones,since there is identity theft occuring,and internet security issues,these people flourish.and consumers are becoming more knowledgable about these practices.
Needless to say that when the company replied in this manner,the Attorney generals office reopened the file and investigation, and an additional complaint will follow to Fedral Trade Commisssion.As they would have the authority lead to beleive I was attempting to do something that would destroy my own credit history.
I hold them liable in this situation, hopeful the attorney general, and FTC will resolve the matter with fairness,and I will receive the money I paid to this credit repair ripoff.
