Credit Solutions Of America Making Money for Themselves at Their Client's Expense Addison Texas
If something seems too good to be true:..
If a solution seems too easy:..
If you are desperate for a solution:...
Then Credit Solutions is NOT the answer. The last thing the representative I spoke with said to me was, "Congratulations on taking the first step to solving your debt problems!" He should have said, "Welcome to you brand new nightmare!"
When I began the program, I was behind on my bills, but treading water. Now, at the end of my journey, I am about to attend a Chapter 13 hearing later this week.
The truth is, I could have contacted my creditors myself, cancelled my cards, seddled my own accounts and been able to buy groceries at the end of the month.
One of the main reasons I went with the program was because I was told that one particular creditor was one they worked very well with. After I was served papers and about to have my wages garnished, I was told that the only settlement they could make with that creditor was $3,500 a month for three months. WOW! What a great offer! (Lest it be said I did not follow directions, I did exactly what reps from Credit Solutions told me to do. And, by the way, you never speak to the same person twice).
Credit Solutions did nothing for me except push me over the edge. I had to get an unlisted number to stop calls, but that didn't stop the sheriff's car from pulling up in my yard.
When I reported Credit Solutions to the BBB, I was contacted by Credit Solutions and offered a settlement of 60%. I foolishly accepted that amount and signed a waiver. After I signed the papers and mailed them back, I realized that the amount promised and delivered was not 60%, but about 40%. I wish I had not signed any agreement. I wonder if it is binding if in the hands of a good lawyer?
I just hope that this site will help others along the way.
