Complaint Review: Credit Solutions Of America

I started the Credit Solutions of America (CSA) in Nov '06 and quickly had suspicions after enrolling in their debt program. CSA did not even send my enrollment packet until mid December after having to request one from a Client Services Rep. Thats when I started to realize the Sales Rep either did not know what she was talking about or made false promises just to get me to enroll. I was told I could add two personal loans and was later told in Jan '07 that it was not possible for that type of debt. I told the sales rep that this was my MAIN reason for doing this.

Since we are told not to make payments to our creditors, I receive 5-10 calls per day. CSA told me to tell my creditors to call them about my accounts and some creditors refuse to contact or deal with CSA. The calls NEVER stop.

Everytime I call CSA, I have to wait on hold for hours and hours until a live person actually answers. I have left numerous voicemails that have never been returned. My calls have been escalated to settlement Supervisors/Managers who promise to call creditors for you and call you back. They NEVER call back as promised.

I have been trying to settle my accounts for over a month now and CSA says they are working on it, but have never settled ANYTHING! After four months, I am now at least over $1000 more in debt with my creditors and that does not count the fees I have paid to CSA.

Hold on a creditor is calling me right now........

In my opinion, CSA says they are settling for you but string you along to get more fees out of you. How are they actually helping anyone when I have to literally call for hours straight to get a live person since none of my voicemails are returned? How can you trust a company that the SUPERVISOR promises to call you back and NEVER does? Why would they want to settle your accounts since they would no longer receive a monthly fee from you? I believe this is one of the biggest scams going. Do NOT use CSA.

Any suggestions on how to get my money back from CSA since nothing was ever settled?
