Creditreport.com Mighty Net, Inc. I had to inform them that my credit file had been breached!! Internet
I have been a "member" of Creditreport.com for 11 months. They are supposed to inform you when new accounts are opened or when your accounts are breached. They were paid monthly for this "service."
Interestingly enough, when someone opened an account in my name, I didn't find out about it from them, I received a bill from the company where credit had been taken out.
When I contacted them to ask why I hadn't been informed about the account that was opened, I was told that they depended on a third party vendor to report credit information to them. They said, "It happens all the time." When I told them that all three credit reporting agencies showed the account, they offered me the number of their vendor to ask why it hadn't been reported.
Let's see...I'm paying a company for a service and they want ME to follow up with THEIR vendor???? Does this make sense?
Do not waste your money on this service. You can get your credit reports directly from the 3 credit agencies. It is free once a year from each of them. Order one every three months and you'll be better covered than you are by this sort of lame firm that doesn't even fix problems they obviously know they have!
BTW: They refused to refund my money.
