Complaint Review: Crescent Bank And Trust

I was ripped off by Crescent Bank & Trust for $1380.00. My payment is 430.00 I'm paying over 20% interests. I have paid every payment on time with a Certified check. I was interrupted last month Aug 13, 2005 by a REPO man who told me that he was in the process of repoing my Family Van (The REPO guy and his wife looked like Crack Heads). Obviously, I was very upset considering that I have mailed my payment on the 1st of every month for a payment due on the 6th of every month. My check was postdated Jun 29, 2005. After dealing with very unprofessional and condescending account people (Charmin 504-310-4871 or 1-877-641-1493 and Shantae Peterson or Peters), I conceded to allow them to rape my pocket. One day exactly after a paid the gross fees including a storage fee to the repo guy of 150.00 my check mysteriously made it on August 16, 2005. It took 16 days to mail a check from Atlanta to New Orleans. I asked if I could get a refund of the REPO fees and they said they could not even though they could prove that the Certified check was issued June 29, 2005 for a payment due August 8, 2005. I was sick. My kids started school and I was planning to use the money for school clothes and school supplies. I kept all my receipts and every time I look at them. I think of the 1380.00 dollars that could have been used twards my families expenses. I felt powerless and I felt violated. I'm really saddened by the effect of Hurricane Katrina, but I'm happy that the account peoples who were inconsiderate and who treated me like a liar and scum are now in a situation where they require care, compassion, and understand. Maybe for a moment they can feel what they put others through.
