Complaint Review: CREW

We hired Crew last year to create and finalise our mobile app. They looked like super nice people we could trust. Their energy was super positive and their website made them look super talented. We trusted them. They were supposed to finalise our mobile app in about four weeks.

Well, over one year later we still don't have the app or our money back. And there is no record to show they delivered a working app.

At the beginning we had issues with the developer they assigned to us before they would keep mute and not send reports on the progress of our project. We sent several complaints to Crew but they just responded by saying they had taken note and took no serious action. Each time we reportted to Crew, they would send a demo app claiming some functionalities have been added to it. We would test the app to find out we could not even log into the app. Not to mention testing the functionalities they outlined.

It took us a while to realise these people were buying time and just fooling us with Crew. We withdrew in the middle of the project and imagined Crew would refund half of our money but they didnt. They cleared our money and said we could settle the matter in a Canadian court after viewing the linkedin profile of our boss to make sure he wasnt resident in Canada or anywhere close.


I have done business on fiverr.com in the past and they gave me so much more protection than this computer which led me to believe they were partners in crime with the developers. Notice there is no system to reviewing or rating developers on their website.

This has been the most frustrating experience that we encounter. We lost one year of business and still today need to find someone to fix the app. If you need an app or website quickly please be aware that despite their amazing apparent personality you may be having tremendous business issues related to their lack of honesty. Names to watch out for are Mikael Cho, Marlee and Stephanie Liverani.
