I received my new Cricket phone that I pruchase from their online ordering on Feb. 23, 2010. After I used the phone for 7 minutes the phone would cut in and out, and have an echo.  I called their customer service to see what they would do about it and they were very difficult to deal with.  I had to call the store 2x plus call customer service 3x. After the 3rd time on the phone customer service said,  the phone could not have over 30 mins of talk time on it to exchange it for the exact phone at the store. I exchanged the phone, and that phone was just as bad as the first phone.  I called customer service again and told them I would like to pay for a better quality phone. Cricket's customer service told me I could not exchange it for anything different than what I had.   I had to cancel the entire account and I could not upgrade the phone.  I returned the phone with only 7 mins. talk time on it.  Cricket has had my return phone now for 3 weeks. I paid for my Cricket account of $75.85 with an At&t reward card and it is not a reloadable credit card.  I made Cricket aware of this when I made the return.  They said they would not refund my money because of their policy.  I suggested to them to issue me a check for the amount, and they refuse to.  I even offered to send them a pdf of the credit card to show that it says it is not reloadable. Cricket customer service has told me that I am out of my $75.85. I feel this is wrongful doing and Cricket should be held accountable for their actions.

When I got my service, they added all kinds of fees and charges for stuff that I never asked for. When I canceled on the 8th of the month, they refused to refund the charges for the last 3 weeks of the month.

I also have been ripped off by cricket and their crap phones!  I have bought 2 within the last 6 months amounting (with the cost of phones and so called "fees") over $500.00.  The first phone I got has a one year warranty still but they will not refund/or repair the phone.  I have filed a report with the BBB and the next step is to file a claim with the Attorney General, then I will take this to small claims court if those don't work!!..  The problem is that too many people DON'T do anything about it.  It is a pain in the butt to deal with their customer service and to file the complaints with the right people but it needs to be done!!  Cricket needs to be STOPPED!!!  They need to be held accountable for their actions, or lack of them!!  People need to start holding them responsible!!  Maybe a boycott, class action lawsuit, a petition, or picket their offices would get their attention.  Maybe we all need to wrok together to get something done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
