So Cricket Wireless ran TV ads promoting unlimited wireless internet with a $50 Rebate Saying you could get the wireless Web for $40 after the rebate. Cool I went to a flagship store and purchased the modem only to be charged $131.61, When I asked why so much the associate responded because you won't be billed next month because I was paying up front. So for the month of Janurary I went to an authorized Cricket Store to pay my phone bill and was told by the associate that my bill wasn't do until Feb. 2nd.

When Feb 2nd came around I went to pay my bill only to be told it owed $165.00 Crickets explanation for the outragous bill was because I didn't pay my phone bill in Janurary. Long story shorter I paid the bill only to recieve a letter from Cricket saying my rebate request was denied because I didn't send the Original UPC when in fact I did send the Original with A photo copy of the reciept. The recipt itself has my account number, Name, and address printed along with the modem serial number, Etc.

I called the number indicated in the letter and was told to scan the actual modem and send a copy.

In my opinion Cricket Wireless is scamming it's customers. One of the conditions in which customers is eligible for the $50 rebate is that your service can't be suspened when the offer form is processed and validated 45 days after purchase to be eligible. So if I wpuldn't have paid The $165.00 my service would have been suspended and no rebate being I saw thru that they then stooped lower and flat out lied and they said they didn't recieve My original UPC, mind you they did recieve the reciept which is still proof I purchased it. However in there very fine print "Cricket and Fulfilment Company assumes no liability for lost, late, damaged, misdirected, or postage due mail or request that fail to be property delivered to the address stated on the order form for any reason.

Cricket Wireless full of lies and deceptions. My name is K. Lewis from Colorado and I approve this message.
