hi gays, I'm writing this report because sameone in the past had used my name for do this scam that in Italy is old like the Colosseo.PLease if samebody ripoff to you with a story like this don't write danilo rippa because i have't nothing to do with this scam
it's normal that laiers never use the real id .So be inteligent and corteuse with me.

Some people simply deserve to be ripped off. A total stranger gives you a sob story and you fall for it. I would have just told him to call his rich daddy and ask daddy to wire a million or so.

In short. I almost got conned 637pounds by a supposed Italian Model called Flavio Tronchetti Provera. Read about it and its almost exactly the same act as Danilo Rippa.

My story:
To make this easier, I'm using someone else's review and changing some minor details to suit to my experience. Please excuse my colloquial-ness in writing =).

I was on the way home from the library when a young guy pulls up alongside in a Peugeot Hatchback and signals to me. He introduces himself as Flavio Tronchetti Provera, an Italian model in town for the London Fashion Week. He then says he's in trouble and needs help as he's in a real tight situation. He tells me that he had with him some clothes given to him by designers in the event. Unfortunately, he was returning to Los Angeles in three hours and could not take them with him because of tax reasons. He asked if I could do him a favour by accepting them as gifts.

*Sure,* I thought *if they're free, why not? Plus im a nice guy. i'll help you out*

'Flavio' then takes out a bunch of designer clothes from bags and they are all nicely packaged and look VERY believable. He asks me for a lighter, but i reply that i dont smoke. He then gives me a high five haha. He proceeds to tell me how much each costs and even demonstrates the quality of the leather jackets by using a lighter on them. He also shows me the authenticity tag on one of them. He also shows me a Suede jacket and tells me to feel the texture to prove that its genuine.

The whole story was pretty believable as he invited me into his car and was real emotional. Also he does the 'I'm italian, english not so good act'. Flavio then proceeds to show me a picture of a red bus D&G ad on his handphone to prove that he is indeed a model. (Though, to be honest, I couldn't really tell if they were actually of him). He then showed me that he was wearing a D&G belt and Armani underwear. He then asks my name and details and starts to explain that his dad is an Engineer like me and in fact the CEO of Pirelli aka Marco Tronchetti Provera. He also shows me a picture of him standing in front of a Ferrari Enzo and saying that its what he drives back in Italy (WTF a Ferrari ENZO?).

Flavio then starts his sob story. He tells me that he was out partying last night in Soho (which he had to point out on map) and hooked up with some girl (a hot spanish girl in fact). They went back to his hotel room at the Hilton Park Lane to have some super sexy time. When he woke up, he discovered that she had stolen all his money, credit cards, designer watch and diamond ear studs. He does this by showing my his empty LV wallet and empty holes in his ears. He then shows me his air ticket and says that he has to fly out of london back to LA to continue his modelling contract urgently. He also then says that he has a big problem with his car as it was a rental and he did not have any way to pay for it. If he didn't pay for the car then can't leave the country cus the rental company had his ticket details. He then goes to say 'I dont know why i'm even telling you this' and the whole thing about how he's so ashamed of what happened and that we should keep these details man-to-man and he didnt want the media to know about this as he can get into big trouble' So i then question why he hasnt asked anyone else he knew in London. He goes on by explaining that it's his first time here and his "agency crew" had flown back 2 nights ago and he extended his stay to enjoy this "beautiful city London". His father was trying to send him money, but it would not get to him it in time for his flight. His father was also trying to get in contact with people in London to help his poor son out with this money issue. He also tried contacting his agent and his friends back at that time (3pm) but in LA it's something like 5am. He said he also tried the Police but they told him to go to the Italian Consulate but the consulate is only open from 10am-12pm. There was a print out to show this and i even called the number to check.

But Flavio offered that I could have his handphones (nokia8800 n some real slim samsung one), all the designer clothes and his dad will pay the money to my account immediately the next day. He even promised to return more money than how much i was to lend him because he's actually really very rich. Showing me the printed out bill, it was 627pounds.

So then stupid caring me says 'sure but i don't have that much money on me now, i need to go home'. So he sends me home haha.

When i get back i start telling my housemates about this whole fiasco. We start google-ing the guy and nothing comes up apart from his 'father', who is in fact the real Pirelli dude. So we start investigating more and more and at the time i really thought this guy was for real.

When i start questioning for more info about him as security he starts getting angry and all going nuts talking crazy italian about how I didn't trust him and that I didn't know Italians and that I was starting to offend him. He also shows me his International Models Association card which looks pretty dodgy. We then agreed that if we followed him to the airport and paid the car rental directly then it would be more believable. When i proposed this to him he then said that it was not possible as the office is past the immigration. I also asked loads of other stuff which i can't remember clearly. At one point he got really upset and told me to just take the presents and leave. Which now that i think about it, should have. Haha.

After heading back into the house again and more checking around I head back out and his car is gone! I thought it was because he was late for his flight so i went back in feeling pretty bad.

Anyway after all this I was on the thought of the whole 'Good vs Evil' thing in my head till another friend told me about his similar encounter with this scam thingy. Mine turned out to be more next level and advanced haha. I now realise this guy is a d**n good actor! To be honest if I didnt ask my housemates about it i would've been duped and I can see anyone else falling for this really easily. Only after reflecting and thinking about it, some of the stuff he said was flawed.

Examples
-Theres a Pirelli office in london
- www.feshionmodel.com which i think he meant fashion looks so s**t
- his name didnt even pop up on google
- Theres no Car rental place after immigration at Heathrow
- Howd he pay for the hotel room if he lost his credit card?
- The rental company can surely accept your father's credit card details via phone or internet?

Well he turned out in the losing end because
1) I got a free ride home
2) He got a parking ticket for waiting outside too long
3) He didn't get anything

So to all my fellow friends and everyone out there. Watch out for this dude. He has a thing for asians as we are apparently more generous and understanding and packed full of money. He also goes under many different names, mostly under Danilo Rippa. Or just play around with him and take the clothes and run!

PS: another note is that he showed me his passport to prove he's an international model and has been all around the world. The real truth is that he's been all around the world and is pulling his con jobs internationally!

BUT IN FLORENCE IN MY WEDDING TRAVEL I WTCHED IT IN THE STORE OF CENTER OF FLORENCE CITY AND HAVE FINISH MONEY
SO I THEN LOOKING FOR IT ON EBAY BUT I NEVER FOUND THE SAME MODEL BUT FLORENCE WAS MOST EXPENS
