Yes, they closed and left me out to dry Dec. 29, 2015. I had my motor replaced July 2013 with a 100,000 mile/5 year wty when they were called DC Automotive out on Beaver Street for $4,750.00.
 
I took my truck back Feb 2015 AT Their new shop called Crosby Auto Repair, Inc. 8908-1 Atlantic Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32211 and they kept it until the day before Thanksgiving 2015.
 
Derrick told me he had the motor finally replaced again after supposedly changing the computer twice, spark plugs, wiring harness, O2 sensor and several other things. He told me he was going to Tennessee for Thanksgiving. My son drove the truck home and by the time he got to 9A from Atlantic Blvd and Southside Blvd, the engine light came back on. Well needless to say we tried to call back to no avail and as you can see here on facebook he closed the business without letting us know.
 
I then took my truck to College Automotive on College in Orange Park, FL. First they said my truck was all messed up and found the wiring harness to be wired on backwards and then found out there as no compression on the right side so that meant I need a new motor or rebuilt motor.
 
I was able to get Derrick's email address and phone number. I spoke to him Jan, 12, 2016 and again in Feb., March and April and he told me he would send me the invoice # where he bought the motor so I could have it replaced. EverywhereI have called said I would have to pay a new place the labor to replace the motor. I've spoken to him once every month and last conversation he said he sent me the invoice # via email. I told him I didn't get it and ask him to just call the number out to me but he didn't. Now he won't answer the phone and I've been without a truck for 15 months and having to still pay payments. Still no response from Derrick and his wife Rebba blocked me on face book.
This makes me think he never put in a new motor like he said from the very beginning. I put my trust in him being they were a christian family but I still got burnt.
