We moved from Texas to Colorado June 10.

Mover was 2 days late picking up our things because of a broken truck.

They transferred to another truck in Houston, and when the Semi delivered our things to Colorado about 1/3 of our things were not on the truck.

I called them and for a month they said they didn't have it, then said they found it and would ship in 3 days.  I have called back many times in 5 months with the same promise of shipping in 3 to 5 days. I know they have our things because Jacob has described them to me.

We also had damaged and broken items that we reported and have not heard anything about them compensating us as the contract states.

We have since built and moved into a new house. I keep calling to see when our things are coming and no one will return my calls.

My representative is named Tony, he will not help on the rare occasions I get him but passes me on to a man named Jacob.  Jacob is no longer answering his phone and will not take messages. The only person I have been able to talk with in two weeks is a receptionist who says she will pass on my message.

If someone came into my house and took those things the police would help me get them back, but if a mover keeps my things and shows no sign of returning them, or refunding what I paid to have them move it, I am just apparently out of luck.

I estimate between what we paid extra to ship those items and what they are worth to be around $5,000.

Cross America - North Pacific Vanlines-Another Number

#3Consumer Comment

I have another number for North Pacific Vanlines (aka Cross America Relocation).  Their DOT number is the same: 1832024.  The business phone is now 1-866-960-9606.  The infamous Jacob is not listed as one of the extension choices, but I have spoken to him and he works there.

Small claims

You will need to file a claim against them with small claims court.  These people have done this for many years and know how to beat the system.  File a claim against:

Yaakov Krii
&
Eran Rosenteal
8910 Lawndale Street, Suite C
Houston, TX 77012

Phone numbers for them are here:
713.636.3363
713.429.9260 - mobile number for Eran
713.429.9312 - mobile number for Yaakov (aka Jaycob)
281.501.8399
281.501.8457
281.888.4447
646.269.0409 - mobile number for the driver from New York

You will end up getting a default judgment against them - they won't show (as seen here - http://justice.dentoncounty.com/isapi/UVlink.isa/dentonco/WEBSERV/JPCivilSearch?action%253Dview%26track%253D166757 )

I believe that my items were on the same truck that yours were.  When I spoke with the driver from New York, he said that he had a stop in Pueblo prior to making the stop for my goods in Littleton.  There were still a few items at the front of the truck (which I have a picture of if I can find a way to contact you.)  It's interesting for you to know that the semi used to transport your goods was Enterprise Vanlines out of New York - 718.788.2778 (DOT - 1202529, MC - 479119.)  They were out of statute at the time of your move and not licensed to move goods.

In addition to this, Cross America also used trucks not insured to move your goods.  I attempted going after their insurance company, but was informed of this by the people at Progressive Insurance.
