Hello to everyone, I hope this message reaches as many people in Booneville and the surrounding areas... I purchased a 4 wheeler and a dirt bike from Cross Country ATV in Booneville Arkansas... I spent 3,000 dollars in this person's store.. Now in these tough economic times it's very hard to spend that kind of money... I wished I had gone with my first instinct and that was to buy from a larger town like Fort Smith because usually you can shop around and get a better deal, however I also believe in shopping in the town you live in because it will help the town's economy..

Anyways, I rode the 4 wheeler 2 times around our yard, we have 5 acres of land, not much just something to have some fun.. Each of the 2 times I rode it I was on it for maybe 15 minutes, I was waiting for my son to get down here and he could ride the dirt bike we bought there and I could ride the 4 wheeler..

Well a few days later the 4 wheeler broke down, I brought the 4 wheeler down to the CROSS COUNTRY ATV, which is where I spent all this money at and explained the situation. The owner took my number down and would call someone about getting it fixed..

Days later and no phone call returned I decided to give him a call, he told me his bikes are sold as is, and would have to spend many more hundreds of dollars to get it fixed.. I couldn't believe this, I spent 3,000 dollars and now after riding it 2 times for only a short period I could have to spend almost another 1,000 to get it fixed!... This was a very horrible, and believe me eye waking experience..

This is worse than buying a lemon from a used car lot, at least in that case there are lemon laws against those kinds of practices... I would of thought in these tough times store owners would want to keep their company in good standings withing the community because people can easily shop somewhere else..

I will keep posting as much about this everyday to get the word out to as many people.. People save your money, save yourself the huge headache DONT BUY FROM THIS PERSON YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF.

Unfortunately, I found out too late by people we have been meeting here in town that this owner has done things like this before.. He gets junk 4 wheeler and dirt bikes, half way fixes em up to get em running, but THEY ALL BREAK DOWN WITHIN THE FIRST COUPLE WEEKS. Then when they won't start he tries to scam even more money, and in many cases we have been hearing they break down a short time later again..

I will keep posting about this company in hopes that the next person thinking of buying a atv will think twice and shop somewhere else.. Why should someone else have to lose thousands of dollars, people please shop at a different store.. This guy absolutely refused to do anything to resolve this, you will walk away with a empty wallet it's not worth it...

He has done this to a lot of people, however no one has done really anything to prevent it to the next person.. This is why I'm doing this, Iv'e posted about this place in about 30 sites related to the fort smith area and will continue to post about this as long as possible...

REMEMBER HE WILL RIP YOU OFF, HIS NAME IS BRIAN FREDERICK....DON'T BUY FROM CROSS COUNTRY ATV IN BOONEVILLE. ARKANSAS.....

Hello again, I forgot to mention in my first posting about the current state of my 4 wheeler. Now mind you this was only ridden by me twice for about 15 minutes. I did not ride the bike hard or anything, actually was going to take it easy due to having a disc fusion 2 years ago, just basically wanted something for fun when I'm not working.

I had contact with a local U.P.S. driver who informed me of a person not to far from where I live that fixes 4 wheelers, and does a great job at a great price. Well the prognosis is I have to have the entire engine replaced. Mr. Frederick at Cross Country Atv would do nothing to help in resolving the matter.

I posted on many websites, I was able to stop someone from making a huge mistake and spend 5,000 dollars at this store which did kinda take a little of the sting away. I even have my own website I run, and have a section telling people my story in hopes that others will shy away from losing thousands of dollars.

He did try and have friends and family members trash me for being new in town and how dare I speak out. Fortunately his plan of attack has backfired miserably due to other people in the surrounding area have supported me and what I'm doing. In several cases they have posted replies saying similar things have happened to them as well..
