Although I'm not a customer of Cross Country Bank (Thank God!), a friend of mine is. Here's what I did to help stop them harrassing him at work and home.

1. Write a strongly worded letter stating that there are to be no more phone calls to you at work or home.

2.If they are debiting your check account, state that they no longer have permission to do so.

3. Send the letter to the address you have for them, it will be fowarded to their compliance dept. Make sure the letter goes out return receipt requested.

4. File an online complaint about their practices to Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or write them at FDIC, Division of Compliance and Comsumer Affairs Washington, DC 20429. Their phone number is 1-800-934-FDIC.

Their website is under Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, go to the search section. That brings you to the Web card catalog, then hit complaints. There is an online complaint form to fill out. Good Luck to all that have been scammed by this so called banking institution.
