CCB charges for everything.... Phone calls, Phone payments, Web payments, Wire transfers, Service fee, and Annual fees. This didn't bother me so much until I tried to contact them to fix the issues THEY where messing up on. Did anyone know that they do not even provide an email address on the website?

Every time I go a statement, I had to call them up to fix a credit that was either not posted or was posted incorrectly. I sat here and read the postings from the CCB employee's. I paid my bills on time. I even had cashed checks showing these payments. Your collection agents still called day and night, so don't give me your excuses of (Well, if you paid your bill, I wouldn't have to call). You keep yourselfs employeed buy calling up customers that did pay their bills!

Then I came into some cash from a settlement. I had enough from CCB. I mailed in a payment of around $1,700.00. They put a 12-day hold on my payment after it was withdrawn from my account! I called and asked why payment had not been posted. They said it was a large amount of money that they put a hold on the check.

Fine... In the mean time my account still was charged finance fees and a membership fee of $50.00. I called them up and asked them why I was charged an annual fee. They told me that my account was still open until payment has cleared and that as long as the account was open they whould charge me the annual fee even if it was open 1 day after the cut off date. I slammed the phone down I was so frustrated. I can't believe a company would so openly rip off customers! I paid the $50.00 and another $30.00 in finance charges just to close the account and rid my life of this crappy company.

I would never, never recommend CCB to anyone; I will never do business with any company affilated with them either.

OPENLY RIPPING OFF THE CONSUMER

#2Consumer Comment

I too can relate to your comments of "openly" ripping off. One phone call I received from CCB: I told the irate person on the other end of the phone that I had now read all the reports about there compnay and the time would come that they would be paying for all the hassles they have given out.

The persons response was "I guess next time you will look online for the cheaters before you apply for something, now when can I expect your payment." This to me was a smack in the face, hung up on her. I dont even deal with them any more. And I refuse to pay for it.

One day there will be a solution for this companies behavior. Until then they will just have to be a negative mark on my credit report that I will continue to explain and refer companies to this site for more horror stories. I havent had to much trouble explaining why they are on my credit report. Most reputable companies know and have heard the stories of their practices. Just alittle something to back up your claim.
