Cross Country Bank ripoff, no toll-free number to call, no human being to speak with New Jersey Internet

Cross Country Bank is a total ripoff. They offer credit to you, but forget to tell you about the charges that eat your entire credit limit!

Then, after the charges they assessed to your account have been added, when you have already made charges, you find out you are over the credit limit. So, now an over the limit fee has been added to the account.

Then, you mail them a payment. It is not posted for weeks. So, now they are calling you with an automated voice that says they "have a very important message for you", and to call their bank, which is a long distance call.

Now you call them, and they put you on hold forever (on your dime). They recommend that you make your payment online next time to avoid late charges.

So, next payment is made online. Again, it takes awhile to post to your account, then ANOTHER late fee is charged.

What con-artists! I have quickly decided to pay off the remaining balance, cut up the card, send it back to them, and tell them to shove it!

PLEASE, for you own sake, do not get credit through these people! There are several other reputable credit companies to get starter credit from.
