Cross country bank assessed my account a overlimit fee because the annual fee created my account to go over the limit.

I called and asked cross country to remove the overlimit fee - since I always paid by bill on time and have been a good customer for the last two years. They refused to remove the overlimit fee. I also requested permission for my wife to talk to cross country bank regarding any issues because I work two jobs.

Cross Country sent me a letter requesting signatures from both myself and wife, adding my wife as an authorized user. We declined to receive the additional card on the letter.

Within a few weeks, we received a letter from Cross Country notifying us that a $30.00 charge for a "additional card charge".
We called Cross country and disputed the additional card charge
with no success. We were told by the customer service representive that "we should of sent a power of attorney", and we asked why weren't told of the additional fee while we were on the phone, we were told "you should of read your credit card agreement"

We then argued that we clearly marked on the return letter that we did not wish to have an additional card. Unfortunately, we did not keep a copy of the letter, however when I requested a copy of the letter from Cross Country customer service. I was told that "it was in a different dept, and they couldn't send us a copy"

Needless to say, when we received our next statement, AN ADDITIONAL OVERLIMIT FEE WAS ADDED because the "additional card fee" caused the account to go over $2.30.

This company business practices are deceitful and they are ripping off hardworking people. I am appalled at they way they treat their customers and will cancel my account with them asap.
