Cross Country Bank has made it very difficult to resolve a small issue.

My wife paid off an account and they turned around and told the credit bureaus that just over 900 dollars is owing on this closed account.

My wife faxed and wrote them for something saying that the account is closed. She has spent hours on the phone and we are now just days away from refinancing our home.

The department responsible for sending us this info now says it will take 30-45 days. Yet on the internet people say that they will never respond (this includes former employees).It has been a month already.

PLEASE prove them wrong for this 100% service (U.S.A.F) connected disabled vet.

Why dont they have a 1-800 # and no way to e-mail them
