Complaint Review: Crossroad subscriptions Inc.

Two young men came to my door.  They were very nice and charming and were selling magazines to get points to take a trip.  They eluded to the fact that they were a christian based organization but looking back they never really said that...probably so they wouldn't get in trouble now.  I was hesitant at first and almost shut the door on them but then i gave in.  This was August of 09.  In April 2010 I finally received a letter stating that they could not fulfill my subscription and I could now choose two magazines.  Of course I am never going to get them and they stole 40 some dollars from me.  I do not have a receipt and am pretty sure that I did not actually get one in the mix of things.  I don't understand how people can be con artists.  It is very sad and I am really angry that I let myself get taken.  I have called and emailed to get my money back but can't actually get in touch with anyone...go figure.  Please do not get taken as well.
