Complaint Review: Crossroads Animal Clinic

Crossroads Animal Clinic in Knoxville, Tn. refused treatment of an animal I had just hit with my car. Treatment was refused based on the fact that I could not immediately pay the clinic an enormous amount of money to insure the treatment would be properly paid for.

The clinic refused to make arrangements with me to pay for the animal's treatment, REGARDLESS OF THE FACT THAT I WAS WILLING TO PAY THE ENTIRE AMOUNT OF THE ANIMAL'S CARE HAD THEY BEEN WILLING TO MAKR PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS.

The clinic not only turned away an animal in shock and pain, they charged me 30.00 for an office visit to tell me they wouldn't help me. I paid the amount because I feared for the animal's health at the time and didn't feel I had time to stand around and argue.

Later I stopped payment on the check and they reported me to a collection agency. They have refused to acknowledge a good deed on my part and took advantage of a person trying to do the right thing.
