Crossroads Transportation Mountaineer Leasing In the toilet BIG TIME Carthage, Missouri
Well, where to start. Got hooked up with these people thru a friend, and was told by that friend that they will treat you right. Wrong!!! Purchased a 2007 Freightliner, that I was suppose to be able pick out myself, but when arriving in Kansas City, MO was told by the shop that this is the truck that I was suppose to get. So I said OK we'll give it a try.
1st week out the AC and some other major items went out $3000 to repair and a week with no income. After that things started to go smoothly. Until the original owners of Crossroads Transportation decided to walk out. Okay so now what to do. Should've known better that to stay, but things had been going good. Sorta. Worked for the company for 6 weeks before ever got the first paycheck and then had to beg for that.
Then in like I said in Nov 2011 the owners walked out and left the trucking business to Marshall , Dave & Dominick. Things started really going down hill. Marshall said that they were trying to get someone in the office to start taking things over. Well things are really bad now. Just learned that Crossroads has folded up and closed the doors. They are filing Bankruptcy. So beware people. I am stranded in OK with no tag, no money and no way home. Good luck.

Most leases are a scam,it is just away for a company to pay for a truck or for someone selling a piece of garbage to get rid of it.When people go into these things like a kid in a candy store, these people can see this and are going to take advantage of it.If you don't have money for a truck drive someone elses because a lease is designed to make you think you are in control, and the only control you really have is how am I going to fix this piece of garbage.
The trucking business is an ugly ugly business, alot of people before you have tried and failed and if you don't educate yourself in every aspect of this business you are doomed to fail also.
I wish both of you the very best and God Bless.

I wish anyone who goes to these ripoff companies would first read the complaints boards. I hope that Crossroads went out of business to save others from falling into these peoples traps. There liars and thieves and need to be put out of business permantly but unfortunalty they will turn up under a differant name as these people did and sell trucks that are junk to unsuspecting people. It's pretty bad when they read these reports as they did with mine and said that they would repay the downpayment to me if I cleared the names that I named and then when I did they backed out of the deal and didn't. So anytime I can post a negative report on these idiots I will to save others the grief I dealt with. Stay away from Wholesale Truck and Fianance, also formally Mountaneer Leasing & sales and whatever name they might be under next please do your homework on any lease purchase that sounds too goo do be true.
