During my short tenure at Crowd PR, I was left with a bad impression. The management is borderline violent and it is a pure boiler room atmosphere. They expect you to get these crappy projects featured - and they are constantly threatening to fire you if you don't produce. Impossible to deal with, and the amount of swearing is abusive.

I do not recommend that anyone works for this kickstarter marketing agency. They will drive you so far into the ground and then toss you aside when they are done for you. You'll work a minimum of 80hrs a week for minimal pay (considering average publicist salary). They talk a big game about benefits and perks but they are no where to be found.

I was denied a paid vacation that was promised because I "hadn't been with the firm long enough". There was no stipulation in my employment contract regarding how long I needed to be employed before I took a vacation. Watch out for this agency everyone!

I should have known something was up when everyone I was working beside had been employed there for less than 4 years. Not a very good retention rate at all. Infact, by far the worst compared to the other shops I'd worked at in Silicon Valley.

If you're reading this, under no circumstance shoudl you work for their marketing agency, regardless of how desperate you are.
