I've dealt with some rotten companies before but CRST Malone can put those places to shame. The recruiters boldly lie about how much money CRST Malone pays drivers, once you go through orientation you're lied to even further and led to believe your average load will pay $2.00/mile. It's not until you take your first few load you begin to realize you've been duped. Once CRST Malone steals the money they need from you, most of the time you are left without making any money for the work you completed, or worse you're in debt!! You're told going through orientation that your total fixed expenses will be $1000 before fuel, but once you get your first settlement you'll realize that is another bold faced lie! Average fixed expenses before fuel is $1500-1900 and nowhere is this ever explained. They steal all your hard earned money and claim it's "justified expenses". Even if you manage to run 4 loads a week, you won't see more than $500-700 from that if you're lucky. Do yourself a favor and stay away from these thieves!!

I would urge you to rethink going back with that miserable company. There are FAR superior companies to pull for that have WAY better loads, newer equipment and much better CSA scores. Malone is by far one of the all time worst companies to drive for, I went back to pulling reefer and I'm making far more money that I could ever have made with Malone. The freight is consistent, the miles are plenty and there's never really a "down" time for reefer. Flatbed wasn't my thing, I worked too hard and never saw any return. CRST Malone still owes me $2900 from my final settlement, but I'm sure I'll never see a dime out of those crooked assholes. I've filed several complaints with the US Department of Labor as well as the Alabama Department of Labor and South Carolina Department of Labor (that's my residence). They had 14 days to issue my final settlement to me and that was expired 18 days ago. Worthless, no good scumbag crooks!

CRST Fraudulent and Liars Rebuttal

I am sorry for your experience with CRST Malone. Yes at 4 loads a week, you may only bring home about $500 to $600 a week. My husband worked there for 8 months, and we never made less than $1,700 on the 5 to 6 loads per week. Many weeks he came home with $2,200. Once you learn your lanes to run that work best for you, you will make the money. We are going back in November, 2015 as owner operators. Yes the equipment is crappy. They are not liars, the recruiters simply do not know how many loads per week it will take to make the $1,500-$2,200 which is average in the flatbed division with 5 to 6 loads a week. Stay away from the long hauls with CRST. Short runs is where the money is "at"
