CRST Rip off lease purchase program. Did not make the money they said we would make. Cedar Rapids, Iowa
CRST Lease purchase program is a joke. We where told that we could make a six figure plus a year income, but ended up making less than minimum wage. The company says that they where giving us 70% of the revenue, plus fuel surcharge. But, the left over runs they gave to us seem to only pay for the fuel. I was upside down in my settlements for 2 or 3 months.They also told me, if I trained, I would get more money. I was also told I could run solo, but when I tried, they said that they only run team frieght.
My wife came on board after being there for three months and went through the advanced school of driving. I was told that after I trained her, I needed to buy out her contract for $2000. During training, they charged me .26 a mile for all of the miles she ran during training. They also charged us a set amount per mile for DEAD HEAD to find empty trailers. So, not only did we waste, we where charged for all miles, plus $317 a week for a maintenance fund. The only time alowed us to get a service done was every 40k. PMs would normally cost $300 at a truck stop. So, I feel I am entilteled to get back alot of money from them, for being therefor 1 1/2 years.
