Complaint Review: Cruise America

we made our reservations two months ahead, when we went to pick u our unit, they tried to push an old beat up trailer, with 136000 miles on it, although all the other rv's available were newer. I refused to accept that, which was not appreciated by the manager. Three hours later they came with a newer model, with 96000 miles. It was raining outside, and when we went inside for inspection, there was a big leak in the middle of the room, that took another two hours to be repaired. the unit was noisy, poorly maintained, dirty and, while driving, would pull to the left, making the trip very unpleasing and exhausting. The customer service basically is done by the same manager/cashier/mechanic, they will never answer the phone, nor return your calls. the motor is very noisy, and I still have ringing ears two days after the trip is over. There is extreme heat coming from the motor cover, that will burn your feet if you get to close to it. The air condition condensation will leak inside of the unit, requiring us to keep a bucket under it all the time. The generator is very loud, making very uncomfortable to sleep at night. There are stains all over the ceiling, feather and dog hair on the couch.
We had to cut our trip short by two days, because we couldn't stand staying any longer inside of that s...hole.
Wouldn't definitely recommend this company nor rent again from them.
