They used my card for another customers $9k cruise! Sales rep wrote my card down and "Accidentally" used it for not only my cruise but for a strangers
WARNING!!!!! WWW.CRUISE.COM
This Company is HORRIBLE ----THEY OFFER ZERO CREDIT CARD SECURITY ---- They do not secure your credit card. Their agent's hand write your card information down... Scary!!!
Here's what happened!
I purchased on WWW.CRUISE.COM today for a cruise on Royal Caribbean for my sisters graduation 2 balcony cabins roughly $2k per cabin $4k total. A few hours later my phone dings from a text alert that my card was just charged $4496.52 x 2 roughly $9k for a Holland American Cruise????? I immediately called WWW.CRUISE.COM while my husband called American express and Holland America. WWW.CRUISE.COM plays it off like its no big deal apparently the agent Named Floretta wrote down my card number and info and when the next customer named Bob Overhall(revealed to us by Holland America) called in next he provided an amex of which she again hand wrote down and when it came to charging she used my card???? WWW.CRUISE.COM's response is perfect are you ready......."We are sorry we will try to make sure it doesn't happen in the future" "Luckily you caught it as if you didn't it would of been harder to refund" ....WTF????

They gave zero remorse or offer for compensation not even a measly onboard or anything that they could of thrown to appease the huge error. Their attitude toward the whole situation was we arent doing anything bluntly, but we will teach our rep to not use other peoples card on other peoples accounts in the future....

DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR CREDIT CARD-!!THEY OFFER ZERO SECURITY-!!

The terrible thing is that I am traveling and can't use my traveling card as I have cancelled that card and have new card en-route from American Express! Let alone I have to wait for $9k to be refunded back to my card.

My attorney will have a field day with this.

I recieved a call this morning that seemed sincere. They offerred me $250 onboard credit to cover losses of not being able to use my cancelled card while on vacation. Although, I am unable to remove this ripoffreport in its entirety I do want to assure all those who read it that cruise.com has made good in their mistake. Thank you
