Complaint Review: Cruise Control

went in to have our 99 subaru tuned up, brakes done and a couple other things done over a period of six months. seemed to be ok until this last trip for tune up, which cost about 300.00 after a couple days it started to run like crap, no power at all could not pull into traffic because of intense hesitation and bucking would not climb hills unless in 1st gear (automatic shift)Called them back and had to leave the car all day on a seperate occasion

used a test meter that plugs into the dash showed miss fire on two of four cylinders claimed it was some control switch but that he didn't have the equipment to fix it,I would have to take it to the subaru garage He kept my 300. for the tune up. I have a reciept from another repair dealer in Glenwood Springs.CO found out he put the wrong plugs in for tune up, His name is Bill at cruise control called Bill told him what had happened and wanted my 300. and some dollars back,he swares the parts store sold him the right plugs

Found out at the other dealer that Bill used to work for them but they let him go Now he thinks he's a subaru spec. working in Rifle at cruise control, anyway Subaru garage put in the right plugs at a cost of another 300. and some dollars and the car runs like a champ I saved the old plugs and called cruise control a couple times for a refund never got a dime and never went back to cruise control
