I CANNOT GET RESULTS!!
I've been trying for 3 months to get a refund of the $1100 I paid in advance for my cruise. Unfortunately I had no knowledge when I booked that my pregnant wife (6.5 months at time of departure) would not be allowed to travel.

After Carnival Cruise Line informed me she would not be allowed on the ship, they told me they would be glad to issue a FULL refund so long as the booking agent "CRUISE VALUE CENTER" sends them a request in writing. Well, Cruise Value Center refused to request a refund unless I paid them a fee of $150. I was angry, but what could I do? I never was warned that they would charge a $150 cancellation fee, but had no choice at that time.

Not to mention that my employer had gone Chapter 7 two months prior and released all employees, putting on $275 per week of unemployment! None-the-less, I paid Cruise Value Center $150, which they quickly cashed. 3 months, several calls and a dozen emails later, I still have NO REFUND! I called the company today and spoke to Marylin, their Director of Sales. She took a fairly strong tone with me from the beginning and shifted the blame to anyone but Cruise Value Center. Apparantly she and Cruise Value Center have not learned that an "angry customer costs more than an (empty cabin)" (reworded from Service That Sells - Phil Roberts).

Not much VALUE found at the Cruise Value Center on this booking..
